Pack 29 Pack meeting, 9/23

IMPORTANT information below

Pack 29’s first pack meeting will be this Friday in the Epworth Center at Auburn United Methodist Church. Auburn University is having a parade to celebrate the kickoff of the scouting year! [Actually, it’s the Homecoming parade but we can piggyback on that!]. Gay Street will be closed at 5:30, so I recommend coming early and securing a parking spot at AUMC (first come, first serve). If you arrive later than this, plan to utilize alternate parking (consider AUMC entrances off of Magnolia and Thach). Enjoy the parade at 6:00 and then come inside for pizza and meeting at 6:30.

Den assignments:

Set-up/flag ceremony: AOL (come a few minutes early)

Serving: Webelos

Cleanup: Bear

Breakdown: Wolf

Uniform: Class A (no stress if you have outgrown it; good time to start assembling the new items, so come in Class B or in civilian attire)

Bring a dessert to share. All family is welcome

Our focus for the event will be popcorn sales kickoff!

Can’t wait to see the whole pack together again.

Volunteer to be part of the Blue and Gold Committee

The Pack needs parents to volunteer to plan the Blue and Gold banquet. If you have been to, had or planned a birthday party you have the needed experience. The committee makes the theme, gets decorations, plans the menu, determines the budget, helps communicate the agenda, finds "entertainment" and the like.

If you can help and be on the committee, please use the link below ASAP
