This year, Pack 29's summer trip will be at Cheaha State Park in the Talladega National Forest.  This park is located on top of Mount Cheaha, Alabama's highest point, and just a few minutes from the Anniston/Oxford area.

Cheaha State Park has been a destination of Pack 29 in the past and we've always enjoyed the hiking, swimming, and fishing in the area.  During the day, we'll enjoy hiking in the woods where we'll see some beautiful views and possibly some wild life.  We'll cool off by taking a dip in the pool onsite.  At night, we'll enjoy the cool breeze that the high elevation affords us temperatures typically in the 60s.

This is a great trip for the entire family, so make plans to join us on July 20-22.
